Lokesh Malhotra is the Founder and Chairman of Hayat Holdings Ltd. The Malhotra family has been based in Kuwait since 1946, and Lokesh is a third generation entrepreneur.

As chairman, Lokesh focus on special projects and is responsible for building partnerships and broader business relationships, government outreach, as well as advising the CEO and senior leadership on business and policy issues.

Hayat dramatically scaled its  infrastructure and diversified its investments while maintaining a strong culture of innovation.

From 1995 to 2013, Lokesh served in various leadership positions within the group companies where he was responsible for the company’s day-to-day operations.

Lokesh holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Lokesh is a member of Young Presidents Organization and Indian Business Council in Kuwait.

Since joining Hayat in 2013, Khaled Jamil has helped grow the group and entered into new partnerships. As Hayat’s CEO, Khaled is responsible for day-to-day-operations, as well as leading the company’s development and strategy.

Prior to joining Hayat Holding Ltd, Khaled held several important leadership positions in the various industries. In addition, Khaled served as the Chief Business Officer at the Al Zahem & Malhotra General Trading Company, where he successfully restructured the firm’s management and product divisions. At the same time, Khaled served as Growmore General Trading’s Executive Director, overseeing the educational provider’s expansion in Dubai, Bahrain and Qatar. Previously, he has worked in areas such as consultancy and accounting for Ernst & Young and was a board member of Group 4 Al Zahem.

Khaled has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Kuwait University as well as an MBA from IE University. He holds numerous professional certifications in areas such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Information Systems Auditor and PMP. Khaled is also a member of Young President Organization and is currently the Chapter Chair of Kuwait.
